The archived Platinumlist page identifies Amelie Lens at HIVE, Soho Garden Meydan, on Saturday 24 January 2026, with doors at 22:00. The listed location is Nad Al Sheba 1, Dubai. It is not a Palm Jumeirah booking.

An announcement tells us what was advertised. It does not tell us what the DJ played, whether the sound impressed the room or whether the night sold out. This page is not an attendance review, and I would not dress it up as one.
Amelie Lens and EXHALE are not interchangeable event names
Here is the distinction the original headline missed: booking Amelie Lens does not, by itself, establish an EXHALE-branded showcase. The retrieved seller listing names the artist and HIVE. It does not substantiate the full EXHALE bill our original copy described. That is a limit of this evidence, not a declaration that no other promotion ever used the name.
EXHALE has its own identity. Its official account of the project traces its beginnings to Amelie Lens’s residency at Labyrinth Club in Hasselt and describes curated programmes bringing emerging and local artists together with established names. Its website separately presents events, records and residents.
That makes the complete programme worth reading. I would pick a showcase because several artists appeal to me, not assume the word EXHALE guarantees a particular supporting DJ, production layout or set length. Nor would I substitute a Lenske connection for an announced line-up. Artist, event brand, label and venue answer different questions.
How I would explore the music before choosing a future night
Start with the artist’s official link hub, which currently offers the releases “AURA” and “run” with Angèle, a radio-show link and tour dates. Those are identifiable places to investigate the music, rather than a string of superlatives or an unsupported streaming milestone.
I would compare an individual release with the longer radio format. A favourite track is a starting point; the sustained programme is more relevant to deciding whether you want a whole evening built around this music. These are listening suggestions, not a claim that we auditioned those recordings or that they were played in Dubai.

I would want a clear reason to pay that additional AED200 per person. Drinks, food or fees outside either assumed option still need adding.
That calculation is more useful than calling a package “VIP” and leaving the reader to guess. A cheaper advertised starting price is not necessarily the cheaper finished evening.
No confirmed afterparty is better than an invented insider tip
