Choose the main part of your visit first, then add another space if its terms fit your group.
Restaurant menu
The restaurant combines French and Japanese influences, with raw dishes, robata cooking, sharing plates and rice pots. For a first order, we would mix sections rather than build dinner entirely around the richest items. Choose a raw plate, a cooked main and an accompaniment that suits the table; a long list of premium ingredients is not a meal plan.
Build a balanced order
The menu is broad enough to support a lighter lunch or a substantial sharing dinner. That is its useful feature. Decide whether you want several small plates or one main-led order, then ask about portion sizes. Two people do not need to order every dish promoted as a signature.
Current dishes to compare
The linked restaurant menu includes Chilean sea bass with an umeboshi-miso glaze, smoked Wagyu tartare with milk buns and creamy lobster udon. Choose the dish that fits the food order and the party’s appetite. Our first-order preference is to choose one of those richer dishes, then balance it with something lighter from the raw or vegetable sections.
Set the food budget
Use the restaurant menu to choose actual preparations. The linked document does not show prices for the ordinary dishes, so it is not a sound basis for inventing a typical food bill. For a fixed-budget dinner, get the current priced menu before agreeing a large sharing order.
Dinner and late-night bookings
For a later night, distinguish the restaurant from Moon Room. The latter is the venue’s separate late-night space, with its own entry and dress policies. A dinner reservation is not a promise that you can keep the same table for every stage of the evening.
Moon Room times and access
Moon Room operates on Friday and Saturday from 11pm and is 21+. That makes it an option to arrange after dinner on those nights, rather than a daily extension of the pool. If the late programme is your priority, establish that booking before planning the rest of the visit.
Drinks and food credit
Set a drinks allowance separately from the food and bed charge. For a group, agree whether the bill will be split evenly or by order. Pool and beach food credit has a defined redemption area; it should not be treated as a cash allowance for every bar at the venue.
Book a specific event
Use Bâoli’s official calendar for an event-led visit. Choose the named event and date, rather than relying on a general promise of DJs every night. The booked space matters as much as the performer: a restaurant table and a late-night booking are different arrangements.
Pool and beach choices
The pool and beach operate from 11am to 7pm daily. Choose between water access, seating type and the amount of usable food credit. For a couple, compare two individual beds with a two-person gazebo before paying; the headline per-person price does not always produce the cheaper booking.
Weekday beach prices for two
Monday–Thursday beach sunbeds are AED 250 per person with AED 150 credit. A two-person beach gazebo is AED 300, redeemable. For two guests, the gazebo is the first option we would compare: a lower charge than two beds with the same combined stated credit, subject to availability and booking terms.
Weekend prices and redemption
Friday–Sunday beach sunbeds are AED 300 per person without credit; the two-person beach gazebo is AED 500 without credit. The credit on standard pool and beach beds is limited to Pool & Beach spending. Pool suites have wider redemption rights, so do not assume the same rules apply across every bed category.
Moving from pool to dinner
Reserve the right spaces if you want to stay into the evening. Moving from swimming to dinner requires a suitable booking and clothing; it is not a guaranteed continuation at the same table. For our money, one clearly planned main experience is better than paying for several areas you barely use.
Plan the booking
Plan around the actual service and the ages of your guests. For families, the restaurant’s lunch and dinner rules differ. For couples, compare the two-person bed choices. For a night out, confirm Moon Room separately. Those decisions are more useful than trying to guess a universal busy period.

Reserve through the official website or call +971 4 491 5500. Select the space, date and party size, then read its terms. There is no supported universal rule that you must book several weeks ahead; the relevant question is availability for your actual plan.
Dress for the booked space
The restaurant and Moon Room specify chic/dressy attire, with no open sandals or shorts for men. Pool visits require appropriate swimwear. Bring suitable clothes if you intend to move from the pool to dinner. A sunbed reservation does not remove the evening venue’s dress requirements.
Location, hours and age rules
Bâoli is at J1 Beach in Jumeirah 1, not Palm Jumeirah or Dubai Marina. Restaurant hours are 1pm–1am Sunday, Monday and Wednesday; 1pm–2am Tuesday and Thursday–Saturday. Use the correct space’s hours when booking rather than assuming the pool and restaurant close together.
For a family lunch, the restaurant welcomes children aged four and above Sunday–Thursday, with a minimum age of twelve Friday–Saturday. Dinner is 16+ for first seating and 21+ for second seating. Establish the permitted service before arranging a family outing; a general family-friendly label would hide those restrictions.
Our recommendation
Our verdict: Bâoli makes sense when you want a connected day-and-evening plan and will use the services you book. For a simple meal, choose the restaurant without adding a bed charge. For a beach day, compare the gazebo against individual beds and account for where the credit works.
