Snoopy Island gets its name from the rock’s silhouette — seen from the beach, it genuinely does look like the cartoon beagle asleep on his doghouse. The water around it stays a beginner-friendly 3 to 7 metres deep, with orange-spotted trevally, yellow-tail barracuda and parrotfish all regular sightings, plus turtles during Fujairah’s nesting season, which runs roughly March to June.
