Global Village Dubai: Everything You Need to Know

Global Village Dubai is the world’s largest tourism, leisure, entertainment and shopping destination — a sprawling open-air cultural extravaganza that runs every year from October to May. Located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, the park hosts over 90 countries across massive pavilions, each showcasing food, souvenirs, performances, and culture from around the globe. With more than 90 million visitors since its launch in 1997, Global Village is one of Dubai’s most iconic annual events and a must-visit for residents and tourists alike.

    Global Village Season 30 (2025–2026)

Season 30 of Global Village is expected to run from October 2025 through to April/May 2026, continuing the tradition of welcoming millions of visitors across seven months of world culture under the Dubai sky. Tickets are available via the Global Village app and at the gate. Entry prices have historically been AED 15–25 per person, with discounts for children under 3.

Each new season brings fresh pavilions, new entertainment acts, Guinness World Record attempts, fireworks, and thousands of shopping and dining options. Season 30 is expected to welcome pavilions from over 90 countries.

How to Get to Global Village

Global Village is located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311), Exit 37. The most convenient ways to get there are:

    • By car: Ample free parking is available on-site
    • By bus: RTA buses run direct routes from key Dubai metro stations during the season
    • By taxi/Careem: Drop-off points are clearly marked at the entrance

Tips for Visiting Global Village Dubai

    • Go on weekdays: Weekends (Thu-Sat) get extremely crowded. Tuesday and Wednesday evenings are noticeably quieter
    • Arrive after 7pm: The atmosphere really comes alive after sunset — fountains, lights, live performances
    • Bring cash: Many smaller stalls and food vendors prefer cash, though cards are increasingly accepted
    • Wear comfortable shoes: The park is enormous — you’ll walk several kilometres over an evening
    • Opening hours: Typically 4pm–12am Sunday to Wednesday, and 4pm–1am Thursday to Saturday
