A booking confirmation is not permission to ignore the door policy—every guest still needs the correct physical ID, suitable dress and timely arrival.
The best table is not automatically the one behind the DJ. It is the table that fits the group, gives everyone a usable view, has a spend you would genuinely order through, and comes with terms you understand. This 2026 guide explains the mechanics that club-booking pages often leave vague.

For budgeting, divide the all-in expected bill by the confirmed guest count, then add a buffer. Do not divide only the advertised minimum. One person cancelling can materially change everyone else’s share, so agree within the group how no-shows and additions will be handled before the deposit is sent.
Book direct or use a promoter?
Direct booking is the cleanest starting point. Use the venue’s official domain to reach its reservation form, WhatsApp link or published phone number. For example, BLU Dubai’s official reservations page says WhatsApp is its preferred route and asks for the date and number of people. A reputable promoter can still be useful when a group wants several venue options or a particular event relationship. The risk is identity: a polished Instagram account, copied logo or foreign WhatsApp number does not prove authorisation.
The promoter-verification test
- Find the venue’s contact independently—do not use a number supplied only by the promoter.
- Ask the venue to confirm that the person or agency is authorised for the selected event.
- Match the payment recipient to the venue or a business the venue has confirmed.
- Demand a reservation reference and written terms before payment.
- Confirm the booking directly with the venue after payment and before the event day.
Be wary of pressure to send money to an unrelated personal account, cryptocurrency-only payment, a screenshot presented as confirmation, or a promise that dress code and ID “will not matter”.
Choose the table, not just the club

This approach deliberately leaves former fixtures such as 1 OAK and old WHITE locations off the recommendation list when their present operation cannot be verified from a current first-party source. A memorable old venue is not a useful 2026 booking lead.
Door policy: a table does not erase it
Confirm the minimum age and accepted identification with the venue. BLU, for instance, states 21+ and requires a valid physical ID. A photo on a phone may not be accepted. International visitors should ask whether the original passport is required rather than guessing.
