MobLand is no longer an upcoming series. Season 1 began on 30 March 2025, and Paramount announced a second-season premiere for 18 September 2026. For UAE viewers, the important distinction is between the show’s international release and the episodes included in a local subscription. JustWatch’s UAE listing names Netflix and TOD; confirm the title and season inside your own account before paying. Here are the release dates, the people behind the family names and the viewing checks that matter in the UAE.

Tom Hardy plays the fixer trying to contain a London crime family’s problems. Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren play the people whose problems keep multiplying. Here is the spoiler-light background—and the subscription checks that matter before you settle in.

The embedded 2025 trailer introduces the series. Its launch date belongs to season one; the second-season information is below.

A Tale of Power and Betrayal

The first-season setup follows the Harrigans and the Stevensons, rival London crime families whose struggle for power puts loyalties under pressure.

Harry Da Souza, played by Tom Hardy, works as the Harrigans’ fixer while trying to protect his own family. The tension in the premise comes from those competing obligations: solving an employer’s crisis can create another problem at home.

MobLand cast and characters

The cast is easier to follow when the actor names are kept beside the family relationships. The central roles are:

  • Tom Hardy — Harry Da Souza: the fixer working for the Harrigans.
  • Pierce Brosnan — Conrad Harrigan: a head of the Harrigan family.
  • Helen Mirren — Maeve Harrigan: Conrad’s wife and a central figure in the family.
  • Paddy Considine — Kevin Harrigan: part of the Harrigan family.
  • Joanne Froggatt — Jan Da Souza: Harry’s wife.
  • Geoff Bell — Richie Stevenson: a member of the rival Stevenson family in the first-season story.

Who created MobLand, and what is Guy Ritchie’s role?

The series is associated with Guy Ritchie, but he is not its only creative credit. Paramount’s distribution record names Ronan Bennett and Jez Butterworth among its executive producers, alongside Ritchie and others. Netflix’s title information credits Bennett as creator. Distinguishing the creator, writers and directors is more useful than treating a familiar filmmaker’s name as the entire production story.

For the first season, Paramount’s episode guide records ten episodes, running from the 30 March premiere to the 1 June 2025 finale. Start there for the relationships behind the second season’s conflicts.

Season 2: what is confirmed, and what does not follow from it?

Paramount’s 13 August 2026 announcement gives 18 September 2026 as the second-season premiere and confirms the return of Hardy, Brosnan and Mirren. The release date is no longer a reason to call the show “coming soon”. It also does not establish that every UAE service has the same season, release schedule or number of playable episodes.

The decision for a new viewer is simpler than the publicity: start with season one if you want the family relationships and Harry’s obligations to make sense. For someone returning for season two, check the season selector rather than relying on a search result that shows only the series name.

Where to watch MobLand in the UAE: check the season before subscribing

JustWatch’s UAE-specific catalogue page, reviewed on 18 October 2026, lists Netflix and TOD. That is a discovery lead, not a playback test. The publicly retrieved Netflix title page identified the series but also returned a location-dependent availability notice; an “ae-en” address alone did not verify access from a signed-in UAE account. No UAE playback, subscription purchase, subtitle menu or current season-two entitlement was tested for this guide.

  1. Search MobLand in the official service while using your normal UAE account and location.
  2. Open the series page and choose the season you actually want. Check the episode list and whether it is included in your package.
  3. Before subscribing, check device support, audio/subtitles, the full renewal price and cancellation terms. A general service subscription does not prove that a particular season is included.

We have not confirmed a current UAE free-viewing offer or local season-two release schedule. Do not buy a subscription on the strength of an international trailer, or use a VPN workaround as evidence of ordinary UAE availability.

Is this the right kind of crime drama for you?

The premise suits viewers looking for criminal-family power struggles, divided loyalties and an ensemble led by Hardy, Brosnan and Mirren. It is not positioned as a gentle whodunnit: Paramount classifies the series as TV-MA, while regional ratings and account controls should be checked on the service you use. Expect a mature-audience crime drama rather than family viewing.

Bottom line: establish the local service and playable season first, then start with season one if you are new to the story. A clear check of the episode list is worth more than another “must-watch” promise.
