This is the Dubai bill I would shortlist for a night built around dancing, not a dinner with a famous DJ somewhere in the background. Music On is advertised at Playa Pacha, FIVE LUXE JBR, on Friday, 20 November 2026, from 7pm. Marco Carola plays back-to-back with Chris Stassy, with Ilario Alicante and Da Vid also announced.
The back-to-back pairing is the reason I would investigate this edition. It is a different proposition from booking for a long Carola solo set. I would choose the dancefloor before paying for a VIP label, then spend the attention on the actual music and the ticket conditions. There are also conflicts in the published booking pages worth resolving before buying.
The current Dubai date, not an old December announcement
Visit Dubai’s event calendar confirms 20 November, 7pm and Playa Pacha at FIVE LUXE JBR. Ticketmaster’s artist/event listing identifies Carola b2b Chris Stassy, Ilario Alicante and Da Vid. This is the beachside JBR booking, not a desert location.
Seven o’clock is the advertised event start, not a verified time for the headline set. The exact running order was not established in this check. I would not assume a sunrise finish from another city’s Music On history, or arrive late expecting one particular artist to have waited.
The operator’s Chris Stassy listing shows a 19:00–03:00 window, while its Fourvenues event says “till late”. Confirm the current closing and last-entry conditions with the actual booking. Neither settles an individual DJ’s slot.
Why I would choose this lineup
The appeal is a club programme with room for several selectors, not a short sequence of familiar hits. Carola and Stassy sharing a performance is the point I would buy into: two artists shaping the same stretch of the evening rather than a promise of an unchanged solo show.
I would choose this if the pleasure is staying with a groove and hearing the direction change over time. If the group wants a seated catch-up, a fixed dinner service or a pop-concert singalong, I would book something else. There is no need to call one format better for everyone; they are different nights.
Pacha’s Carola profile connects him to Naples’ early-1990s electronic scene and dates his Pacha Ibiza Music On residency from 2019. That gives the name context. It does not make the Dubai venue, audience or set length identical to Ibiza.
Before committing, I would listen to full-length artist sets through their verified channels rather than judge the bill from a ten-second crowd clip. That is a sensible way to test your own taste; this article does not claim to have attended the forthcoming show or rate a performance that has not happened.
The retained artist Instagram post below is background material, not a current ticket, timetable or proof of the November audience.
The ticket I would investigate first
The date-specific Pacha ICONS Fourvenues listing displayed the following products when checked on 19 October. These are published references, not a completed basket, guaranteed allocation or confirmation of all fees.
| Displayed product | Listed amount | My decision point |
|---|---|---|
| Entry Before 11pm | AED150 | My first option if the group can reliably meet the stated cutoff. Confirm whether admission, not merely joining a queue, must occur before it. |
| Dancefloor Access | AED250 | Investigate if the earlier-arrival product does not suit the plan. Do not assume unrestricted entry or re-entry from the name alone. |
| Backstage Dancing VIP, including 10 premium drinks | AED1,500 | Pay for the specific access and inclusions you want, not an implied artist meeting, guaranteed seat or unlimited package. |
I would start with the earlier-entry option if its actual terms fit. A larger ticket bill does not automatically buy a better musical experience. If an arrival cutoff would make the evening stressful, I would compare the next appropriate product rather than gamble on an exception at the door.
A two-person comparison
Using those displayed references, two AED150 admissions total AED300; two AED250 admissions total AED500. That is an AED200 admission difference. Add a hypothetical shared AED100 transport allowance and the planning totals become AED400 and AED600, before any booking charges or other spending. The transport figure is an example, not a taxi quote, and the comparison assumes the selected tickets remain available and valid for your plan.
That is money I would rather keep than spend accidentally because the group had not agreed an arrival time. It is also a reason to check everyone’s schedule before one person buys an early-entry product for the whole party.
Three booking-page conflicts I would not ignore
1. Price banners do not match every event product
The operator’s Music On page includes an AED850 final-release banner alongside unrelated Keinemusik desert-show copy. Visit Dubai and Fourvenues instead expose the lower entry products above. Do not substitute a banner’s amount or another show’s location for the dated item in your booking.
2. Backstage drinks are described differently
The operator’s general package copy contains both “unlimited” and ten-drink descriptions. The date-specific Fourvenues product names ten. I would ask the seller to confirm the exact purchased entitlement in writing; I would not advertise unlimited drinks as settled.
3. One paragraph adds an artist not on the other lineup lists
Fourvenues’ descriptive paragraph adds Ahmed Spins, while its own artist list, Pacha’s main lineup and Ticketmaster name the four artists in the opening. Treat that extra appearance as unresolved, not a promised fifth set. If that artist is the reason for buying, ask the organiser before payment.
My enquiry would be: “For Music On on 20 November 2026 at FIVE LUXE JBR, please confirm this ticket’s arrival cutoff, admitted zone, drink entitlement, re-entry and closing time. Does the current bill include Ahmed Spins, and are fees included in the shown amount?”

VIP tables: compare the whole reservation, not a divided headline
The checked Fourvenues page lists table-zone starting amounts, including AED4,400 for Zone 4, with higher amounts in other zones. A starting amount is not proof of the capacity, included spend, taxes, minimum party size or exact table available to your group.
I would ask for the specific table position, permitted number of guests, full payable total and redeemable items before dividing the figure by friends. Also settle who pays the deposit and what happens if someone drops out. A group budget based on an assumed capacity is not a real quote.
If the purpose is moving around and dancing, I would not reserve a table just because the booking page places it above a normal ticket. If the group genuinely wants a base and understands the spend, then compare that product on its own terms. A table does not inherently include artist access or an unobstructed view.
Plan JBR as JBR, not as a desert transfer
The venue is at FIVE LUXE JBR on The Walk. Confirm the event entrance and the current pickup arrangement before setting out. A daytime pool or beach reservation is not automatically admission to this ticketed programme, and a hotel booking is not proof that event entry is included.
I would agree a meeting point, download the booking confirmation and keep enough phone charge for the return journey. Do not leave the group’s plan dependent on one person’s screenshot or an unconfirmed assumption about when the last set finishes.
For public transport, use current official journey information for the actual date and leave time for the last part of the trip. This review does not establish a special event service, a guaranteed late-night connection, a fixed walk duration or a return fare.
Age, dress and the questions to settle before paying
The published event conditions specify 21+ and casual dress. Those are attached to this booking, not a universal rule for every Dubai venue. Ask the seller which identification is accepted and whether any item-specific entry restrictions apply; do not assume a screenshot of an ID will suffice.
- Confirm the selected date, venue and all members’ eligibility.
- Read the arrival deadline and what happens if it is missed.
- Confirm drinks, seating, access area and re-entry rather than infer them from a VIP label.
- Read the actual cancellation, rescheduling and transfer rules before payment.
- Save the seller’s confirmation, item description and support details.
I would rather spend two minutes resolving an unclear condition than argue about it on the night. The research here did not establish a blanket refund entitlement or test the ticket seller’s support service.

Music On is not every Marco Carola date
Keep a solo artist booking, a Music On programme and another city’s residency separate. A familiar name does not transfer the same bill, admission product or hours from one event to another. No additional Abu Dhabi Music On date was established in this review.
Our Marco Carola guide provides related artist and event context. This page’s practical contribution is the product comparison and the conflicts to resolve. For a different kind of evening, browse our Nightlife coverage and compare actual dated programmes rather than an old list of supposedly interchangeable clubs.
My verdict: choose the dancefloor, then make the booking make sense
I would shortlist this for the Carola–Stassy pairing and a full club-focused bill. The earlier-entry product is my starting point when the group can meet its conditions. I would pay more only for access or flexibility I actually wanted, not because the word VIP made the decision.
If the plan is dinner, conversation and a little music on the side, I would choose another evening. If it is dancing, this is a much clearer proposition. Resolve the published package conflicts first, keep the JBR location straight and book the exact product—not the surrounding hype.
Checked 19 October 2026: official operator, Visit Dubai, named ticket listings, two supplied body images and hero, with the existing Instagram embed retained. This is advance planning, not an attendance review or a performance score. No private booking enquiry, completed purchase, live stock guarantee, full set timetable or transport trial is claimed.
