The calculation: total = pass payment + any eligible order amount above its credit. If the order is smaller than the credit, I do not subtract the unused portion from the pass payment. In the Banyan Tree weekend example, AED 200 of credit would remain unused; the outing still costs AED 1,200 before extras, not AED 1,000.
That makes SĀN AED 300 more than WET in this example, Banyan Tree midweek AED 400 more, and Banyan Tree’s weekend AED 800 more. I would pay that difference only because I specifically wanted the setting or seating—not because “redeemable” sounded like money back. These are different venues and experiences, not interchangeable products or tested service rankings.
For children, start again with the venue’s actual age policy and access zone. WET separates its family pool from the adults-only deck. The adult-pair table is not a family quote, and a cabana with a group capacity is not priced like two individual sunbeds.
