The published start is not evidence that Clean Bandit walked onstage at that exact minute. Nor does an event listing prove every advertised detail happened as planned. This guide records the booking and explains the choices around this kind of show; it is not a reporter’s account from the crowd.
Why I would put the music first
“Rather Be” is the obvious place I would start before considering a future Clean Bandit ticket. The Recording Academy’s 2015 awards record confirms its Best Dance Recording win for Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne. That gives the Grammy description a specific foundation instead of using it as a vague seal of greatness.
My preference would be a song-led evening with friends over buying into an elaborate VIP pitch. If the attraction is recognising and sharing the music, a package needs to improve that experience in a concrete way before I would pay more. A private bar is not much of a benefit if what I really want is a clear place to enjoy the performance.
The original guide named “Rockabye” and “Symphony” alongside “Rather Be” as familiar tracks. They are listening references, not a verified Barasti setlist. A featured recording artist’s name also does not prove that vocalist appeared at this show. I would want a separate lineup announcement before paying for the expectation of a particular guest.
For future announcements, start with Clean Bandit’s official site and the linked date-specific organiser or seller. The artist homepage did not yield a usable complete tour schedule in this check; no new Dubai date is confirmed by this article.

Barasti’s setting: appealing, but not a guaranteed view
The original attraction was easy to understand: music at a beach venue rather than a seated concert hall. That sounds like the right choice for someone who wants a social night built around the artist. It is not the format I would choose for guaranteed seating, a quiet conversation or an assumption that every position has the same view.
I would ask about the actual concert footprint before buying a future ticket. “Beachfront” does not tell you where the stage, barriers, tables, accessible routes or viewing positions will be. A daytime beach pass is not automatically admission to a separate evening production.
The Le Méridien Mina Seyahi resort’s current Marriott page is a better starting point for a venue enquiry than the old standalone domain previously linked here. That standalone page now presents unrelated overseas-event and promotional material, so I am not using it to verify Dubai bookings or rules. The resort page itself mixes Barasti wording into another outlet’s listing; I would ask the operator for the specific venue and event rather than transfer those hours blindly.
That is a source problem worth stating plainly. A familiar web address is not enough to establish a current programme, safe payment route or accurate entry policy.
What I would pay extra for—and what I would not
The surviving ended-event page does not substantiate the old article’s generic list of early-bird, general-admission and VIP benefits. Those options cannot be reconstructed as fact from what similar concerts sometimes sell. I would compare the written terms of an actual future offer, not assume this archive describes them.

I would pay for a benefit I will use. I would not pay a large uplift merely to avoid the word “standard”. The label is less important than where I can stand, whether I can sit when needed and what the final bill includes.

Suppose a future offer—not this ended concert—costs AED200 per person for entry, while a four-person package costs AED1,200. Four individual entries would be AED800; the package adds AED400, or AED100 each. I would ask what that extra AED100 actually buys before anyone pays a deposit.
If an illustrative shared return journey adds AED160, the totals become AED960 versus AED1,360 before food, drinks and other charges. These are hypothetical numbers, not ticket prices, taxi quotes or a reconstructed 2025 tariff. The point is to compare the whole evening on the same basis.
Getting there: keep the return journey in the plan
The old event listing points public-transport users towards the Mina Seyahi tram stop and a walk to the venue. That is a historical location reference, not a fresh late-night route guarantee. For any new event, use RTA’s current journey-planning information for the actual date and direction.
I would settle the return journey before extending the night with another stop. Check the last useful service, the walk to the confirmed entrance and an alternative if the show finishes later than expected. Do not infer that a tram will be available simply because it got you there earlier.
For a taxi or ride-hailing journey, ask about the designated collection point for that event. The previous promise of a guaranteed pickup/drop-off area was not supported by the retrieved listing. A map pin for the resort does not resolve a concert’s pedestrian access arrangements.
If driving, obtain the actual parking terms rather than assume a hotel space is included with an event ticket. I would rather plan one reliable route than add dinner at a different location and spend the evening rushing between them.
Clothes and entry: practical, not invented policy
For a beach-format evening I would choose stable, comfortable shoes and an outfit I can move in. That is a personal recommendation, not a permission to enter barefoot or a verified dress code. The original blanket advice to remove shoes was not a sensible rule to publish.
Check the specific organiser’s age and identification requirements, permitted bags, cameras, food and drink, accessibility arrangements and re-entry policy. I have not carried over the old article’s unsupported 21-plus, bag-size and amenities assurances as verified event conditions.
If someone in the group needs seating, step-free access or another adjustment, get the arrangement confirmed before buying. A broad “beach party” description is not enough to answer that person’s practical question.
My verdict: keep the artist, lose the empty urgency
I would choose this kind of night for the chance to enjoy familiar music together, not because a listing calls it unforgettable. The 2025 booking belongs in the archive. Its value now is an accurate record and a clearer way to assess any future announcement—not a false countdown.
