Ilios at Surf Abu Dhabi is our choice when a pool day and a Greek-Mediterranean meal are the point of the outing. The surf basin is a separate attraction and booking. For a couple, the clearest value comparison is weekday versus weekend pool seating: both sunbeds and loungers are AED 100 per person Monday–Friday, with food-and-drink credit, while their weekend prices differ. Choose the actual service before paying for a day out.
What Is Ilios Beach Club?
Ilios has Meraki Dining & Terrace for restaurant bookings, Apollo Bar for poolside dining and Euphoria Bar & Lounge, which the operator now describes as an event space. That makes the booking choice important: an ordinary restaurant table, pool seating and a private event are separate arrangements. The pool is not the Surf Abu Dhabi wave basin. A restaurant or sunbed reservation does not include a surf session; arrange that through the surf operator if it is part of your plan.
Location and Getting There
The address is Surf Abu Dhabi on Al Hudayriyat Island. Use the venue’s exact map pin for your arrival, then select the restaurant or pool area on the booking. For drivers, establish the relevant parking arrangement with the venue. A fixed twenty-minute journey from downtown or thirty-minute airport transfer is not a reliable plan for every starting point and traffic condition.
Ilios Beach Club Abu Dhabi Pricing
The live venue booking pages list pool sunbeds at AED 100 per person Monday–Friday and AED 200 Saturday–Sunday. Pool loungers are AED 100 Monday–Friday and AED 150 Saturday–Sunday. Both options are described as fully redeemable on food and beverages. Choose the specific seating category: these are not universal rates for every cabana, daybed or private lounge.
The current Saturday brunch runs 1pm–4pm, with packages at AED 350 for soft drinks, AED 450 for beverages and AED 635 for premium beverages. The listed format is a three-hour set food menu with the relevant drinks. For two guests, those base package totals are AED 700, AED 900 or AED 1,270. Pool seating and brunch are separate services; establish any combined arrangement when booking rather than assume brunch includes a sunbed.

The Menu: Greek-Mediterranean, With a Japanese Accent
The published à la carte menu includes Greek-Mediterranean dishes and a Japanese corner. Our preference is to choose one direction for the main order, then add a starter that complements it: Greek salad, tyropita and a charcoal or fish main make a different meal from sashimi and maki. The variety is useful, but it is not a reason to order from every section.

Drinks
The menu has vegetarian-labelled choices as well as raw fish, shellfish and meat. Tyropita contains feta and honey, while the Japanese corner includes a vegetable maki. Read the preparation and allergen information rather than assume a vegetable dish is vegan or free from allergens. For whole fish, establish the weight, price and serving size before ordering. A by-the-kilo price does not establish the final cost of the fish placed on the table.
Dress Code
Surf Abu Dhabi lists the restaurant dress code as smart casual. Ask the venue about poolside attire when reserving a lounger.

Select the specific service and date through the venue’s own booking link. Pool sunbed and lounger pages state online reservations close at 2pm; call +971 2 419 8508 about later availability. They request changes or cancellations at least 24 hours ahead. Check the terms on your selected booking rather than assume every service uses identical conditions.
Best Times to Visit
For the lower pool-seating price, choose Monday–Friday. For the brunch, choose its Saturday booking. If entertainment is the main attraction, reserve the advertised brunch or a named event; the brunch page lists a resident DJ and live entertainment, which is not a promise of the same programme every day.
Ilios vs Other Abu Dhabi Beach Clubs
Ilios combines pool seating with a restaurant at Surf Abu Dhabi. Compare it with other clubs on the service you want: restaurant-only, a redeemable sunbed, a cabana or a surf session. These are different products. The wave-basin setting is its useful distinction; it does not mean a surf session is included in the pool charge.
Is Ilios Beach Club Worth It?
Our recommendation: weekday pool seating for a lower charge, business lunch for a defined daytime meal, Saturday brunch for the set-menu event. For a couple choosing weekend pool seating, two loungers cost AED 300 versus AED 400 for two sunbeds, with the same fully redeemable wording. Choose the seat type you want; the extra AED 100 is not a larger compulsory food package.
Business lunch and a simple menu budget
The current business lunch booking page lists AED 145 for a starter and main, or AED 180 for two starters and a main or a starter, main and dessert. Each includes a small bottle of water and coffee or tea. It runs Monday–Friday, noon–4pm, excluding weekends and public holidays. For a first restaurant visit, this is our choice over adding a pool booking you will not use.
Facts checked on 9 October 2026. The linked à la carte menu lists Greek salad at AED 90, tyropita at AED 75 and grilled octopus at AED 125. Those three plates total AED 290; with that menu’s stated 10% service charge, AED 319, before drinks, extra dishes or a pool charge. VAT is included in the listed menu prices. This is a small-plate food example, not a complete dinner or a guaranteed two-person portion.
The pool seating pages list no charge for children aged five and below when accommodated at a parent’s seat. Children aged six and above have the listed per-person rates. Include the actual ages in a family enquiry and establish the seating arrangement. Do not multiply only the adult rate and assume every child has a separate free bed.
