Ski Dubai Tickets 2026: Prices, Passes, Timings & Tips

I would book Ski Dubai for the activity I actually want—not pay extra for a bundle I will spend the afternoon failing to fit in. Already competent on skis or a snowboard? The advertised AED 240 two-hour slope pass is the starting point I would compare. A beginner needs tuition; a family wanting snow play needs the Snow Park. Buying a bigger pass does not remove an ability restriction.

The appeal is obvious: real snow without leaving Dubai. The decision that makes or breaks the visit is less glamorous—matching every person to a suitable activity and time slot. I have kept the practical pass, clothing and parking detail below, but I would not treat conflicting operator price fields as a confirmed checkout quote. This is researched editorial advice, not an account of my own ski lesson or a tested value score.

Which Ski Dubai ticket should you buy?

My first choice is the right ticket, not the longest inclusion list. I would buy slope time only for someone who can already use it safely. For a first snow outing, I would start with Snow Park; for learning to ski or snowboard, a discovery lesson. Those solve different problems, so I would not compare them as if the cheapest one automatically replaces the others.

The general catalogue displayed Daycation at AED 335 during this check, while the Snow Park page’s underlying ticket data retained a different amount. The family description advertises four for three and a saving of AED 335. Those fields do not establish one consistent payable four-person quote. I would confirm the selected date and participant total rather than repeat the previous AED 355/AED 1,065 comparison as a verified current saving.

I would also compare the official offers only after checking eligibility. A member or employee rate is not a universal price, and a zero value in a partially populated catalogue is not a free premium ticket.

The slope ability gate I would check before paying

The two-hour slope product requires experienced users at skill level 2+: safe stopping, speed control, linked turns and lift use, plus a signed waiver. I would take that literally. A waiver does not turn a beginner into a competent skier, and paying for slope access is not a substitute for a lesson.

If you cannot meet those four conditions, book a discovery lesson or a coached beginner product. Ski lessons generally start at age three; snowboard lessons start at age eight. This distinction matters because a Snow Park ticket does not turn into independent ski-slope access, and a two-hour slope ticket is not a substitute for tuition.

For children, check the selected product rather than borrow a rule from another category. The slope catalogue says ages 2–15 require a ticketed accompanying adult; its advertised ski-slope products start at three and require ability. The Snow Park catalogue uses ages 2–13, while its Family and Friends section uses 2–14. I would resolve the actual package’s supervision requirement before paying. An adult elsewhere in the mall is not accompanying a child inside.

What is included—and what to wear underneath

Relevant passes supply the expensive items most visitors do not own in Dubai. Full-day slope admission currently includes boots, helmet, skis or snowboard, jacket and waterproof trousers, socks and fleece gloves. A locker is also included with the core slope products. Snow Park packages supply the clothing and snow boots specified on the selected product.

Wear a breathable base layer under the supplied outerwear: a long-sleeved top, full-length trousers or leggings and comfortable socks. Avoid thick cotton that stays damp. Closed shoes are sensible for the journey, even though snow boots are provided inside. A beanie or neck warmer can make a long visit more comfortable, especially for children, but check what can safely be worn with a helmet.

Product details list clothing sizes S to 4XL, while the general FAQ says M–4XL. I would check fit directly if a guest needs an edge size. Slope equipment details make helmets mandatory for ages 3–13; other park wording uses “under 13”. I would follow the selected activity’s instructions and wear the helmet rather than turn a wording difference into permission to leave it off.

Snow Park rides, penguins and activity rules

Snow Park is the non-ski option. The current Snow Base description includes Zorb Ball, Bobsled, Tubing Run, Bumper Cars, Climbing Wall, Snow Plough Playground and Sliding Hill. It is a better fit for a first snow experience than buying slope access without the required skills.

A penguin march is included in the current Snow Base and Snow Park Pass descriptions. It is not the same product as a close penguin encounter. If an interaction is important, choose a package that explicitly includes it and reserve its time slot. Check the day’s march programme inside rather than building the visit around an old fixed timetable.

Snow Bullet has separate limits. The operator’s detailed restrictions say children must be over eight, at least 120cm and over 30kg, with adults at 120kg or above excluded. A separate popup uses “8 yrs & above” and different wording at the weight boundary. I would ask the operator before buying for someone exactly on those thresholds—not promise eligibility from the looser version. Pregnancy and specified medical restrictions also apply; follow the actual booking and staff instructions.

October’s extra experience needs its own decision

The Snow Base page advertises Snowy Ghost Town for 9–31 October 2026, with sudden scares and warnings about younger children, pregnancy and sensory or health sensitivities. That is a dated addition, not a permanent description of every snow visit. I would check exactly what the booked pass includes and whether that experience suits the group; “family day” does not make a scare attraction appropriate for every child.

How long do you need at Ski Dubai?

• Two-hour slope ticket: allow about three hours door to door for check-in, changing, equipment fitting, the slope session and changing afterwards.
• Snow Park visit: allow three to four hours if the group wants several rides and a penguin march.
• Bundled pass: allow four to six hours when a meal, scheduled encounter, lesson or premium activity is included.
• First lesson: arrive at least 40 minutes before the booked lesson time unless the live confirmation specifies longer.

Those are planning estimates, not venue guarantees. Queues, clothing sizes, school holidays and reserved activity slots change the total. The ticket timer and the time spent inside are not necessarily identical, so read the booking confirmation rather than arriving at the stated session time.

Opening hours: check the selected date

Monday–Thursday: 10am–11pm. Friday: 10am–midnight. Saturday–Sunday: 9am–midnight. The operator lists last-ticket times of 9.30pm Monday–Thursday and 10.30pm Friday–Sunday. Available sessions can begin earlier than the general opening time; use the time on the booked product.

Reserve the chosen activity before planning the rest of the mall visit. A last-ticket time is not enough time for every inclusion in a bundled pass. Check selected-date availability during holidays and special events, and arrive early enough for changing, equipment fitting and the booked encounter or lesson.

Getting there by Metro, taxi or car

Ski Dubai is inside Mall of the Emirates, Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Barsha 1. Mall of the Emirates Metro station is on the Red Line and connects to the first floor of the mall through an enclosed walkway. This is usually the simplest option at peak weekend times. From inside the mall, follow the Ski Dubai signs rather than relying on a floor number in an old listing.

The mall has around 7,000 covered parking spaces and now uses ticketless, barrierless Parkin number-plate recognition. Current public parking charges are:

Saturday and Sunday are free under the mall’s published schedule. Ski Dubai and VOX visitors can obtain two additional free hours by validating at Customer Service. Overnight parking is prohibited; the page lists an AED 200-per-day charge, not an invitation to buy an overnight stay. It also lists an AED 3 pass-through charge and an additional AED 150 for fees not settled within three days. I would validate before leaving and check the mall’s parking terms for the actual visit.

Accessibility, health and family checks

• Under twos: children younger than two are not admitted to Ski Dubai.
• Mobility or sensory requirements: contact the venue before buying so staff can match the guest to accessible areas and safe activities; not every snow ride can be adapted.
• Pregnancy and medical conditions: slope sports and thrill activities may be unsuitable. Read the product warning and seek medical advice where relevant.
• Glasses and hearing devices: secure them before active rides and ask staff about helmet compatibility.
• Children: write a parent’s mobile number on a secure card inside the child’s clothing and agree on a meeting point before entering.

Five booking mistakes to avoid

1. Buying slope access as a beginner. Choose a lesson; the public slope has an ability gate.
2. Choosing a bundle by price rather than schedule. A premium inclusion has no value if its time slot clashes with the meal, lesson or penguin activity.
3. Assuming every piece of clothing is included. Read the exact product list and plan a base layer.
4. Missing a height or weight rule. Check every rider before paying for Snow Bullet or another restricted attraction.
5. Forgetting parking validation. A four-to-six-hour visit can exceed the weekday free period; validate the extra Ski Dubai hours at Customer Service.

Is Ski Dubai worth it?

I would choose Ski Dubai for a deliberate snow outing, not as an expensive extra squeezed between shopping and dinner. The two-hour slope pass is my starting comparison for a competent skier on a short visit; I would choose a lesson for a beginner and Snow Park for snow play. I would not recommend a four-person bundle until the actual group can use its inclusions and the final price is clear.

At the advertised slope prices, a full day costs AED 100 more than two hours: AED 340 minus AED 240. That is the actual upgrade question I would ask—do I want enough extra slope time to justify another AED 100? For a short visit I would keep the money. For a genuinely longer session I would compare the day pass, with check-in, breaks and the confirmed access terms in mind. This is a price comparison, not a claim that I tested the snow or measured value per run.

For bundles, my booking note would record each guest’s age and ability / selected activity / reserved time / clothing size / final group price / meal and photo inclusions / parking validation. I would not count an inclusion as value if someone cannot use it or its slot clashes with the lesson.
