Lucky 2000 Abu Dhabi is a doughnut shop in Souq Al Mina, Mina Zayed. Its current Google Maps schedule is Thursday–Sunday, 4pm–8pm. That replaces the later Friday–Sunday summer service. Choose it for a small dessert stop in the port district, with changing filled doughnuts rather than an extensive café meal. The concept comes from the team behind Marmellata Bakery and Barbassi.
For a visit now, use the current map listing for the schedule and the official Instagram feed for the drop. The five-flavour menu below records a July release; it is useful background, not the order list for this weekend. A limited release is worth planning around when the flavour interests you, but we would keep the rest of the evening independent of finding a particular doughnut.

Our advice: check the featured flavour before making a special trip and aim for the beginning of the listed 4pm–8pm service. Thursday is now part of the map schedule. The summer “until sellout” wording makes a late arrival a poor plan when one flavour is the reason for travelling. Combine the stop with dinner elsewhere in Mina Zayed instead of making doughnut availability decide the whole evening.
What is on the Lucky 2000 menu?
Lucky 2000’s official 16 July menu post listed these five flavours:

The July releases show how the concept works: Cinnamon Sugar + Vanilla Custard, Citrus & Cardamom, Chocolate Hazelnut and Strawberries & Cream recur alongside a changing fifth flavour. Earlier featured releases included Double Pistachio, Peaches & Brown Sugar, Mango & Coconut, and Raspberry Sugar with Passionfruit Cream. We would choose a mixed box to compare fruit, custard and chocolate fillings, provided those flavours are available. None of these dated releases establishes a permanent menu.
The shop describes the product simply as “donuts but Abu Dhabi, Mina style”. Other coverage connects the idea to Italian zeppole, but the practical proposition is more specific: filled brioche-style doughnuts assembled for a short evening service, with one weekly flavour giving regulars a reason to return.
How much do Lucky 2000 doughnuts cost?
The shop does not provide a current public price menu on its linked website, which is still a holding page. The June figures below are historical box-price reports, not a quote for an October visit:

The June reports work out at AED 8 each for a five-piece box and AED 7.50 each for a ten-piece box. At those reported prices, ten doughnuts would cost AED 75 as one ten-piece box or AED 80 as two five-piece boxes: a difference of AED 5. Use that arithmetic to compare a quoted box offer, not to demand a historical price. Confirm today’s price, quantity and available flavours before ordering.
Where is Lucky 2000?
Lucky 2000 is at Souq Al Mina in Mina Zayed. Its map listing gives 22 Al Mutqin Street, Zayed Port, Freezone 2. Use the venue pin rather than searching only for “Mina”: the district contains several markets and businesses. When should you arrive?
The current Google Maps hours are Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 4pm–8pm, with Monday–Wednesday closed. The earlier summer posts gave Friday–Sunday, 7pm–10pm. Use the current schedule for the journey and look at the latest operator update before a special trip. For a particular flavour, arrive toward opening rather than the end of the service; a posted closing time does not guarantee every filling remains available.
Plan this as a walk-up doughnut purchase. The linked website is not yet an ordering site, and the July posts do not establish a current delivery or reservation service. If you need a large order or a timed collection, arrange that with the operator before making it part of an event. An ordinary visit and a guaranteed group order are different plans.
Is Lucky 2000 worth the queue?
For us, the reason to choose Lucky 2000 is the short release menu and Mina Zayed location. A doughnut stop gives you a smaller commitment than a full restaurant booking. We would make the trip when the featured filling interests us, or add a box to an evening already planned in the neighbourhood. We would not cross the city late in the service solely on the assumption that every flavour is still there.
The trade-off is convenience: changing releases give returning customers something to choose between, but they make a permanent favourite harder to plan around. For a group, settle the box size and current fillings first. For someone who needs daytime weekday opening, delivery or a fixed dessert reservation, a venue with those services is the better fit. Lucky 2000 works best when you can keep the visit flexible.

Lucky 2000 comes from the team behind Marmellata Bakery and Barbassi. That connection explains the emphasis on dough, custard and a short menu rather than dozens of decorative toppings. It also gives the project local context: this is not a generic international doughnut chain arriving in a mall, but a small Abu Dhabi concept built around Mina Zayed and a weekly release rhythm.
Planning a box for the table
Choose the box around the people sharing it. A mixed selection makes sense when tastes differ; a larger quantity of one filling makes sense when everyone has already chosen it. Ask about the whole recipe for allergies, including the dough, filling and finishing ingredients: a fruit name alone does not establish that a doughnut is dairy- or nut-free. For a larger order, find out whether the shop can set stock aside rather than assume arriving early is a reservation. Keep travel and onward dinner plans separate from a particular flavour selling out.
