My pick: the blue boot, with the rest kept simple
I would choose the blue-and-beige high-top from the original adidas x Moon Boot collection for its oversized shape and cream rope-like lacing. It has enough character to carry an outfit. I would keep the trousers plain and the jacket restrained rather than pile another statement on top.
This is our guide to the collaboration launched in November 2024, not an announcement of a new 2026 drop. The photographs below belong to that original coverage. For a UAE reader, I would make two decisions separately: do you want the look, and do you need footwear for a particular winter trip? I like the look. That does not make this a tested recommendation for icy pavements, deep snow or a full day on your feet.
What actually launched in 2024
The original adidas announcement, dated 7 November 2024, identifies this as adidas Sportswear’s first brand collaboration and Moon Boot’s first apparel collection. That is narrower than saying Moon Boot had never collaborated with another brand.
The capsule extended beyond shoes into clothing and accessories. Its campaign featured BABYMONSTER and Lena Mahfouf. The varsity-style jacket, hoodies, parachute trousers and leggings made the head-to-toe idea clear, but I would borrow one strong piece rather than copy the whole campaign outfit.
That is the distinction I like here: Moon Boot’s exaggerated proportions become something to build an everyday outfit around, rather than a requirement to dress as though you are already at a ski resort. The blue boot is my choice for a focal point; black is the quieter option.
High or low: choose for the outfit first
The original footwear range included high and low silhouettes. adidas described BOOST cushioning, a Torsion System and water-repellent outer material. Those are the manufacturer’s descriptions, not results from our own comfort or weather testing. Water-repellent should not be read as an unconditional waterproof guarantee.

I would not buy the high-top merely to tick off a collaboration. Its bulky collar is the point. If that shape feels like too much for your wardrobe, the logo alone will not make it a sensible purchase.
What the photographs can—and cannot—tell you
The blue pair has cream panels around the lower upper, prominent lacing, a padded-looking collar and a white textured midsole above a dark outsole. The black high-top uses stronger contrast between its upper, laces and midsole. I prefer the blue-and-beige combination because its contrast feels less stark while still showing the construction.
The vending-machine photograph is a playful presentation of the collection, not evidence of a shop where you can buy it today. Likewise, the boxed pair shows styling and packaging, not present-day stock or the condition of a reseller’s individual shoes.
I would use these pictures to decide whether the design appeals, then ask a seller for current photographs of the actual pair. They cannot establish fit, warmth, grip or how the materials feel. There was no in-house wear test behind this preview.
Buying from the UAE: separate a listing from an available pair
Checked on 21 October 2026: the original adidas UAE Moonboost High link, reference IH2488, opened a broader Sportswear shoes page during our check. A Recently Viewed panel elsewhere on the site still displayed a Moonboost High price. Neither observation confirmed a selectable size or a completed order, so I would not use either as a promise that your pair is available.
A separate white long-sleeve tee listing, JM8917, displayed AED 143.40 reduced from AED 239. That is a dated clothing-price observation, not the price of the boots or proof that the whole original capsule remains in stock. No size was selected or order placed.
The earlier blanket recommendations of CONFIRMED, Foot Locker, Sun & Sand Sports and named resale shops did not establish exact-model stock. - Identify the pair: get the complete reference, colour and size category in writing.
- See the actual item: request current photographs of the shoes, label and any wear or missing packaging.
- Compare the full bill: use the delivered UAE total rather than converting an overseas headline price.
- Understand the remedy: ask whether an unsuitable fit qualifies for a refund, exchange or store credit, and check any sale-item exclusions.
My verdict
I would buy into this collection for its proportions and colour—not the old promise that one boot handles every winter adventure. The blue-and-beige high-top is the strongest visual choice for me: the rounded shape, cream panels and visible lacing give it a clear identity without relying on a bright all-over print.
For a winter-city outfit, that is a compelling reason to try it. For a demanding trip, I would settle the practical specifications first. A good-looking collaboration is still the wrong purchase if it does not meet the job you need it to do.
