A source-checked guide to Dubai bowling alleys, comparing current prices, lane counts, locations, hours, group costs and booking rules for DIBC, GLITCH, Tiger Strikes, Switch Bowling and Wavehouse.
For bowling in Dubai, DIBC is my first comparison when the game itself is the point. I’d choose a social venue when food and other activities matter just as much, and a location that does not turn a short game into a long journey. The useful price comparison is completed games against paid lane time—not the smallest number on a rate card.
My verdict: choose the game, then the setting
My bowling-led choice is DIBC; my group choice depends on the location and the other games people want. I would not pay resort prices simply to bowl one round, or hire an hour expecting a guaranteed number of completed games. Count the players, check the lane limit and compare the total. The day grouping matters too: the newer DIBC rate card distinguishes Friday from Saturday and Sunday.

Prices vary sharply: the official rates we checked run from AED 22 per person per game at DIBC on weekdays to time-based resort bookings at Wavehouse, whose current limited weekday offer is AED210 per lane per hour. The lowest headline price is not always the cheapest for a group, so this guide compares per-player and per-lane costs, lane limits, locations, hours and booking rules. The underlying comparison was checked on 29 July 2026; DIBC’s current image rate card, GLITCH’s prices, Switch’s rules and Wavehouse’s linked weekday offer were rechecked on 22 October 2026. Tiger Strikes’ secure booking page confirms games from AED40 and a Tuesday promotion, but its older hourly table below needs confirmation for the chosen date.

Our quick verdict: choose DIBC if bowling itself is the main event. Choose GLITCH if you want a straightforward AED 30 game in Deira. For six people, Tiger Strikes’ weekday hourly lane is usually better value than six individual games—AED 160 for the lane versus AED 240 for one game each—but an hourly booking limits you by time, not by completed games.
Dubai International Bowling Centre: best for the actual bowling
DIBC is the easy first pick for anyone who cares about lane availability, leagues or practising rather than simply adding ten-pin bowling to a night out. The Al Mamzar centre has 36 Brunswick synthetic lanes, the largest verified lane count in this guide, plus a pro shop and regular leagues.
- Weekday, Monday–Thursday: AED 22 per game/person or AED 140 per lane/hour
- Friday: AED 25 per game/person or AED 150 per lane/hour
- Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: AED 30 per game/person or AED 180 per lane/hour, according to the newer June 2026 rate card on the operator homepage. Its older text table still groups Friday–Sunday together; confirm the newer card when reserving.
- Shoes: included; socks cost AED 4 if needed
- Published hours: 9am–1am; confirm late-night availability directly
The hourly rate is particularly useful for groups. Six people splitting a weekday lane pay about AED 23.33 each, although the number of frames completed depends on pace. Outside food is not permitted, and bowling shoes and socks are compulsory. DIBC says it can amend rates without notice, so check its official rates page before setting off.
GLITCH: best cheap game with other attractions
GLITCH has eight lanes on Level 2 of Al Ghurair Centre in Deira. The official price is refreshingly simple: AED 30 per game per person. Its minimum bowling age is four, and the venue combines the lanes with laser tag, arcade and physical attractions, making it practical when a family or group cannot agree on one activity.

Tiger Strikes: best for a central group night
Tiger Strikes has six neon-lit lanes at Megaplex Dubai on Sheikh Rashid Road, beside Grand Hyatt in Umm Hurair 2. Bowling shares the venue with augmented-reality cricket, digital darts, pool and a café/lounge, so it fits a mixed-activity evening better than a dedicated practice session.

The group calculation is useful: six weekday players splitting an hour pay about AED 26.67 each. By comparison, one individual game each costs AED 240 in total. The trade-off is that slower groups may not finish a full game within the hour. The hourly table is retained from the earlier operator check, not a fresh quote. The current secure Tiger Strikes booking channel confirms games from AED40 and Half Price Tuesday for bowling, cricket and darts. Confirm the applicable hourly charge and hours on +971 4 220 3662; do not assume the standard table is the Tuesday promotional bill.
Switch Bowling: best around Ibn Battuta and Jebel Ali
Switch Bowling has 12 lanes at Ibn Battuta Mall’s India Court. Its public rate is AED 50 per person for one game or AED 200 for one lane for an hour, with a maximum of five players. At full capacity, that makes the hourly option AED 40 each.
Bowling shoes are included and mandatory; bring socks or buy a new pair at the counter. Children under ten must have a parent or guardian on the lanes. Weekday reservations are available online, but the venue says weekends and public holidays operate on a strict walk-in basis—arrive early rather than assuming you have a lane.

- Extras: billiards, karaoke, PlayStation, table tennis, air hockey and an in-house café

Wavehouse: best for an Atlantis family day
Wavehouse at Atlantis, The Palm has only four bowling lanes, but bowling is part of a much larger entertainment stop with more than 70 arcade games, dining and automated darts. It is the luxury/resort option in this list, currently advertising a limited AED210 per lane per hour offer for Monday–Thursday, excluding public holidays, through its official bowling booking page. Bowling hours are noon–10pm; the bar’s later weekend hours do not extend that bowling window.
Wavehouse is a resort-format choice with bowling, dining and other entertainment to book separately. The AED 495 family bundle described here ran from 23 March to 31 August 2026 and has ended; its meals, arcade credit and bowling allowance are not a current entitlement. Use the official Wavehouse page for a new dated offer and compare the actual lane time and inclusions.
Two group-size traps I would avoid
Six players at DIBC do not automatically save money with an hour. One weekday game each totals AED132, while the lane hour is AED140. Friday is AED150 either way, and Saturday/Sunday/public holidays are AED180 either way. I would buy a completed game when finishing all ten frames matters; an hour buys time, not a cheaper guaranteed game.
The operator’s current rate card allows six bowlers per lane and says hourly time starts within three minutes, with a one-hour minimum; shoe rental and VAT are included. Arrive ready to enter names and change shoes. I would not spend the first paid quarter-hour deciding the teams.
At Switch, a sixth player changes the calculation. Five can share one AED200 hour, but six require multiple lanes: two simultaneous hourly lanes cost AED400, against AED300 for one AED50 game each. These buy different play time, so choose the format deliberately. Spectators enter free, and an extension is only possible if nobody is waiting; ask at least ten minutes before the hour ends.
At GLITCH, do not assume a large arcade-card bonus pays for bowling. Its current pricing terms exclude bowling from standard Fun, Epic and Mega packages, while the family package names a limited bowling-or-laser-tag inclusion. Gold membership wording also conflicts with its general exclusions. For a bowling-only visit, I would use the clear AED30 game rate rather than buy a card on an assumption.
Per game or per hour: which is cheaper?
Choose per game when one or two people want a guaranteed ten frames without watching the clock. Choose per lane/hour when four to six people can split the bill and are happy to bowl at the pace the booking allows.

As a planning estimate, one game often takes roughly ten minutes per person, but children, beginners, food orders and lane stoppages can extend it. A six-player group should allow 60–90 minutes if finishing one full game matters. Ask whether the timer starts at the reservation time or after shoes and player names are entered.
How to choose the right Dubai bowling venue
- You want proper lanes, leagues or practice: DIBC.
- You want the lowest verified single-game price: DIBC on weekdays, then GLITCH.
- You are staying in Deira: GLITCH or DIBC, depending on whether you want attractions or a dedicated centre.
- You have a group of up to six near Bur Dubai: Tiger Strikes.
- You are around Jebel Ali or Ibn Battuta: Switch Bowling.
- You are planning an Atlantis or Palm day: Wavehouse.

Before you book
- Confirm the live price, lane capacity and any weekend walk-in rule with the venue.
- State the number and ages of players; ask about bumpers, ramps and lightweight balls if children are joining.
- Bring socks even where shoe hire is included.
- Ask whether an hourly lane can be extended and when its timer starts.
- For birthdays, school trips or corporate groups, request the package terms in writing and compare the gameplay time—not only the food inclusions.
- Tell the venue about mobility or sensory requirements before arrival so it can confirm access and quieter times.
