What is the ILOE scheme?
The ILOE insurance scheme was introduced by the UAE government to protect workers’ financial stability, enhance job market competitiveness for Emiratis, and attract top global talent. It offers eligible employees a monthly payout for up to three months after involuntary termination.

How much compensation you will receive
Compensation is calculated as 60% of your average monthly basic salary from the past 12 months, capped by your salary category:

Payments are made for up to three months or until you secure new employment or exit the UAE, whichever comes first.
Key eligibility requirements
To claim ILOE benefits, you must meet the following conditions:
- 12 months of continuous subscription
You must be enrolled in the ILOE insurance scheme for at least 12 consecutive months before your job loss. - All premiums paid on time
Delayed or missed premium payments can disqualify your claim. - Involuntary termination
You must have been terminated by your employer. Resignations do not qualify. - No dismissal for misconduct
Termination for disciplinary reasons automatically disqualifies claims. - Claim within 30 days
Submit your claim within 30 days of your termination date or after a labour dispute is settled. - No abscondment complaints
Active abscondment reports from an employer or authority will lead to rejection. - No fraudulent claims
Submitting false documents or making a deceptive claim can result in penalties. - Not due to strikes or stoppages
Loss of employment due to illegal strikes or work stoppages is not covered. - Valid UAE residency
You must hold legal residency status when filing your claim.
