Current status of Dubai and UAE restaurant, beach-club and resort arrivals, separating operating venues, live reservation announcements and future plans.

The UAE openings worth watching now include Wynn Al Marjan Island’s planned 2027 resort and dining venues, Zuma Beach House’s 2027 Jumeirah arrival, and Osaka at Mandarin Oriental Downtown. Several names from the earlier watchlist have already moved on: DIFC confirms Gymkhana is open, while Neo-Temaki and Shinobi publish active menus and service hours. Our recommendation is to separate the places you can plan around now from announcements you can follow for later. A construction target is not a restaurant reservation.

This guide keeps the original projects in view but updates what matters for a visit: the operator’s current opening information, the actual address, the menu format and whether a booking is available. Where an opening remains unconfirmed, the venue stays on the watchlist. For dinner today, use the operating options below or our new Dubai restaurant guide. For a future resort stay, compare the rate and facilities attached to the exact dates you intend to book.

Wynn Al Marjan Island: a planned 2027 resort

Wynn’s announcement places its Ras Al Khaimah resort and the first two named restaurants in 2027. Alain Ducasse’s French-American steakhouse and Delilah are part of that plan. Keep the year as the opening target rather than turn it into an unsupported exact day or an “early 2027” guarantee. Our interest is the ability to make the resort the main destination for a stay. It should not be inserted into a fixed itinerary until the appropriate booking and operating facilities are confirmed.

For a trip centred on Wynn, choose the stay dates and then check which dining and leisure services are included or taking separate reservations. A hotel opening and the launch of every advertised outlet may be different milestones. A room rate also does not establish dinner, beach-club access or entertainment admission. We would plan this as a Ras Al Khaimah stay rather than an add-on to a tightly timed Dubai evening. Use the actual resort address and transfer arrangement when booking, not a promise of a quick journey from every part of Dubai.

Alain Ducasse: the announced steakhouse

The announced Ducasse restaurant combines a French-American steakhouse direction with tableside elements. That gives it a different purpose from a long Indian or Japanese tasting menu. Our choice would depend on the actual Dubai-region opening menu, the cuts offered and whether the group wants independent ordering. The chef’s reputation is a reason to follow the launch; it does not establish the eventual bill, dietary options or a Michelin distinction at this new venue. Keep the restaurant on the 2027 resort watchlist until the operator releases the applicable menu and reservation terms.

Delilah: dinner and entertainment at Wynn

Delilah is announced as a supper-club format with dinner and live entertainment at Wynn Al Marjan Island. Choose that kind of outing when performance is part of the evening, rather than assume it is interchangeable with a quiet restaurant meal. When bookings begin, compare the table duration, event admission and any minimum spend. A policy at the Las Vegas venue should not become an automatic UAE booking condition. The useful launch information will be the actual Ras Al Khaimah service and terms, not an imagined account of its atmosphere before guests can visit.

Zuma Beach House: the operator now says 2027

Zuma’s current Beach House page explicitly says coming to Jumeirah 1 in 2027, overlooking Port de La Mer marina. That is the date to use ahead of older 2025 or 2026 coverage. The operator calls it a new daytime concept and still lists opening hours as coming soon. Keep it separate from Zuma DIFC and Zuma Abu Dhabi: those restaurants’ menus, reservations and prices are not a quotation for this future beach venue.

Our choice would be to wait for the final access and dining terms before arranging a beach day around it. A restaurant table, daybed, pool booking and private-beach entry can be separate purchases. Ask what the future package includes, what is redeemable against food, and whether ages or dress rules differ between areas. A daytime concept does not establish late-night service. The brand and marina setting make it worth watching, but the actual operating details will decide whether it suits a family day, lunch with friends or a longer pool outing.

Osaka at Mandarin Oriental Downtown

Mandarin Oriental Downtown opened in November 2025; its announcement placed Osaka among additions planned for the hotel’s dining portfolio. Current hotel recruitment material also refers to it as forthcoming. Our watchlist treats Osaka as the Nikkei arrival to follow at this property, rather than a confirmed dinner booking. The hotel being open is a separate fact from every announced restaurant trading. Use the hotel’s actual Osaka reservation and menu when available instead of applying another city’s prices.

For a Nikkei meal, compare the eventual Osaka format with the available alternatives you already want to visit. Peruvian-Japanese cuisine can mean different dishes, portion sizes and dining commitments at different brands. Our preference is to choose from a current menu, then add the view and setting as reasons to favour one booking. A launch announcement’s floor number or design image should not substitute for the final entrance and service details. If you are staying at the hotel, confirm which outlets are actually available during your visit.

Gymkhana: now open in DIFC

DIFC’s 7 September update confirms Gymkhana is open at Gate Village, Building 7. It belongs with current restaurant choices, not a future September opening. The London original holds two Michelin stars; that distinction belongs to London and should not be transferred to Dubai. Choose the Dubai restaurant for its current Indian menu and the booking that suits your party. The district’s launch information names Dubai dishes alongside familiar London classics, giving the branch its own menu context.

For a dinner in DIFC, compare Gymkhana’s actual order with other Indian choices such as Jamavar or a fixed tasting sequence at Trèsind Studio on the Palm. Those are different outings and different menu commitments. Our preference for a group wanting individual dishes is to inspect the sharing plates, mains and sides before reserving. A private room or terrace request should be arranged for the actual party size. A familiar London reputation does not establish a current Dubai minimum spend, a guaranteed seat or a particular waiting time.

Neo-Temaki: an operating handroll option

Neo-Temaki publishes its current address at the Ground Floor of JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, Business Bay, with noon–midnight daily on its own site. Choose it for a handroll-led meal rather than describe the permanent venue as still preparing to open. The hotel’s own dining listing also identifies it. Save the hotel and restaurant name together when arranging directions; an earlier pop-up address is opening history, not the destination for this visit.

Our choice is to start with the handroll menu and build the order in stages. A handroll-focused outing is a different commitment from a full omakase sequence or a hotel brunch. Compare any sets with the individual rolls the group actually wants, and check what a vegetarian choice includes. For a fixed-time party, use the venue’s reservation route and actual conditions rather than assume every counter seats a group together. The operator’s midnight closing should take priority over an older booking-platform entry showing 2am, while the last kitchen order still needs its own confirmation.

Shinobi: current menu and hours on Al Wasl Road

Shinobi is at Villa 8, Al Wasl Road, Jumeirah 2, with Monday–Friday 5pm–midnight and Saturday–Sunday noon–midnight. Choose it for handrolls and an actual Japanese menu, rather than a generic promise of an underground nightlife experience. Its published three-roll set is AED 90, four-roll set AED 120 and five-roll set AED 150. That gives a clear food comparison: two three-roll sets total AED 180 before other dishes and drinks.

Use the set contents to decide the order. Three or five rolls describe a quantity, not a guarantee that every diner will feel full. The menu also lists sashimi, nigiri and hot dishes, so there is room to choose beyond a fixed roll set. Our preference is to start with the set that matches the appetite, then add one shared extra if wanted. For an early weekday meal, note the 5pm opening; for weekend lunch, the noon start matters. These current service details make it more useful than an old announcement repeated as future news.

TANSŌ: open, with seasonal menus

TANSŌ was reported open from 7 May 2026 at Villa 32, 168 Jumeira Street, Jumeirah 1. Its first Daichi Volume 01 was a seasonal launch chapter, so it should not be presented as an upcoming opening or automatically as the current October sequence. Choose it for the restaurant’s actual contemporary Japanese menu. The launch described an alcohol-free programme; arrange the applicable menu and drinks with the venue. The delivery concept ŌKI by Tansō explicitly describes a different selection, so its prices are not a dine-in quote.

Siena: the DIFC restaurant is operating

Siena’s own Dubai site publishes the Gate Village Building 7, DIFC address, current menu and reservations. It is an Italian restaurant to compare now, rather than a name awaiting the same future launch as Wynn. Keep it separate from another Siena in Dubai Marina. Our choice would start with the DIFC à la carte dishes and the table’s appetite, rather than a guessed AED 180–250 main-course band applied across several unrelated brands. Use the current menu for the actual dinner total.

Hikiniku To Come: the Dubai store is listed

The brand’s official location list now includes Dubai CMPLX Al Quoz. FYTE’s earlier announcement targeted September 2026 for its Wagyu Hamburg concept. A store listing is an advance on an old announcement, but the linked page checked here does not provide a Dubai-specific service schedule or booking terms. Keep those details to confirm before travelling. The concept centres on freshly ground patties, grilling and a defined sequence; it should not be described as an ordinary build-your-own burger restaurant.

Our interest is the specialist format: choose it when that sequence is the point of the meal. When arranging a Dubai visit, ask for the actual set, number of patties, rice or other inclusions, price and dietary limitations. The Tokyo service is useful background, not a promise that every Dubai operational detail matches. An announcement’s halal claim should be checked against the actual UAE menu if it is essential for your party. CMPLX is the location to save; do not travel to a generic Al Quoz pin or plan around an unverified opening-hour estimate.

Hanbok: Abu Dhabi opening still to confirm

Hanbok was announced for The Galleria, Al Maryah Island, as a contemporary Korean restaurant. Project and operator-linked posts describe the fit-out, but the research here has not established a current public service schedule and live booking. Keep it on the Abu Dhabi watchlist. A design feature or completed interior photograph does not establish a dinner opening. Our interest would be the eventual Korean menu and its format, rather than a claim that a planned restaurant has already transformed the capital’s entire dining scene.

Cala399: the main page still says coming soon

Cala399’s current homepage invites visitors to be notified when it launches. Other pages describe activities, but those promotional pages do not override the main coming-soon message. The announced Ghantoot project remains a watchlist venue for a day-to-night beach outing. It is not an available beach booking simply because a music or activities page exists. Before a visit, use an operator-confirmed opening, event listing or reservation that belongs to a specific date.

For a future beach day, ask separately about entry, sunbeds, pool access, food credit and event tickets. A large advertised capacity does not establish what an ordinary guest receives. We would also compare the journey and return plan before adding a late event: Ghantoot is a different destination from a Jumeirah dinner. The old Blue Marlin site is location context, not proof that the new venue operates under the former venue’s policies. Choose the actual event or day package after its terms are published, rather than rely on a design announcement.

Novikov Beach: a separate announced venue

Novikov Beach was announced in connection with the Gran Meliá La Mer project. A current Dubai Beach opening and operating menu are not established by the evidence reviewed here, so it remains a future project to confirm. Keep it separate from Novikov Abu Dhabi and from similarly named beach venues outside the UAE. A familiar brand cannot settle the exact address, price or booking status. Our choice for a fixed-time meal would be an operating venue with a live menu, while this project stays on the coastal watchlist.

Park Chinois and Scott’s: retain as announcements

Park Chinois and Scott’s appeared in Dubai arrival coverage, but current UAE opening dates and live local reservations are not established here. Keep both as announcements rather than confirmed dinner recommendations. Their London reputations describe the existing restaurants, not proof of a Dubai Michelin award or a local price. Follow a UAE operator announcement for the exact destination, menu and launch. Our preference is to avoid assigning a date simply because an older round-up placed several arrivals in the same season.

Chotto Matte: Dubai is in the group’s plans

Chotto Matte’s group material names Dubai among locations to follow, but that does not provide a current Dubai service or confirmed opening date. Keep the Nikkei brand on the watchlist until a specific venue page and reservation are released. A franchise presentation explains an expansion plan; it is not a local booking confirmation. For a meal now, compare current Nikkei options and their actual menus. For a future visit, use the Dubai address and pricing rather than transfer terms from London, Doha or another branch.

AY-VY and DOTS: do not merge the names

AY-VY’s site gives Al Fattan Currency House, DIFC, and describes a Pan-Asian social-club concept. The pages checked here do not establish a specific operating schedule and available dinner booking. DOTS Group also names Dubai in its expansion material. Keep the brands and their announcements distinct; a common district or related development context does not establish that both are trading under the same reservation. Follow the operator’s actual local venue page for the name you intend to book.

For a music-led venue, the details that decide our choice are the dinner service, table duration, entry rules and the programme on the date. An art-led description alone does not answer those questions. Ask whether the reservation covers a meal, a lounge table or a ticketed event, then compare the full cost for the group. A no-photo policy belongs to the specific venue’s terms; it is not evidence that every new social club uses one. Choose a verified service rather than translate promotional language into a guaranteed night out.

Six Senses The Palm: reservations have opened

Six Senses’ reservation announcement says stays are bookable from 1 September 2026 at its West Crescent resort, with sixty-one suites. Its general new-openings page still labels the project 2026. Treat the reservation announcement as the booking development, then confirm the actual stay and available facilities for your dates. A press release about reservations does not establish that every advertised spa treatment or restaurant is operating throughout every guest’s stay.

Our choice would be to compare a resort stay with the wellness services actually included in the rate. A suite reservation, a specific treatment and a dining booking may be separate commitments. Ask about the pools, beach, restaurant services and any facility restrictions that matter to the party. If a treatment is essential to the trip, arrange it alongside the room rather than assume the hotel booking includes it. The resort’s stated wellness direction is a reason to inspect the offering, not a medical promise or proof that every menu ingredient has a particular health effect.

Choose the emirate before extending the plan

Dubai’s current choices in this guide include DIFC restaurants, Business Bay’s Neo-Temaki and Jumeirah’s Shinobi and TANSŌ. Abu Dhabi’s Hanbok remains an opening to confirm at Al Maryah Island. Wynn belongs to a future Ras Al Khaimah resort stay. Grouping all three under “Dubai openings” hides the journey involved. Our preference is to choose the destination first, then compare the meal or stay. A multi-emirate trip can make sense, but it should be planned deliberately rather than emerge from a list of attractive names.

For a Dubai evening, keep the restaurant close to the rest of the outing. DIFC, Al Quoz, Business Bay and Palm Jumeirah are different destinations, even when each has a Japanese or Italian option. For a resort visit, compare accommodation and available facilities rather than just the chef names in an announcement. For a beach event, arrange the return journey before selecting the late slot. These practical choices matter more than calling every district the next luxury hub or forecasting the entire tourism market from a handful of launches.

How to turn a watchlist into a booking

Start with the venue’s current local page, then check the exact date, address, menu and reservation conditions. If the page only invites launch notifications, keep the project for later. If it publishes service hours and a menu, inspect the actual slot for the party. If it sells rooms from a particular date, confirm the services you need during that stay. A project can be genuinely progressing without being the right choice for tonight. We would rather pick a clearly available alternative than plan an occasion around an unconfirmed opening.

Compare the full cost before payment. For a restaurant, total the chosen food, drinks and stated charges. For a tasting menu, separate optional pairings from the food price. For a lounge or club, inspect any minimum spend, table duration and event admission. For a hotel, read cancellation terms and distinguish included breakfast from other meals or treatments. There is no useful universal main-course price for all the names here. Their menus and formats differ, and several future venues have not released the terms needed to make a meaningful bill comparison.

Frequently asked questions

Which of these can I consider now?

DIFC confirms Gymkhana is open. Neo-Temaki, Shinobi and Siena publish current venue information and menus. TANSŌ was reported open in May. Use each restaurant’s current service and available reservation rather than treat every name in an openings list as still forthcoming.

When are Wynn and Zuma Beach House planned?

Wynn’s operator material gives 2027 for Al Marjan Island and its first named restaurants. Zuma’s current Beach House page also gives 2027. Neither year should be converted into an exact opening day or current dinner availability.

Is Six Senses The Palm taking bookings?

The brand announced reservations for stays beginning 1 September 2026. Confirm the actual dates, room rate and available facilities for the stay you want; a reservation announcement does not settle every restaurant or spa service.

Is Hikiniku To Come listed in Dubai?

The official brand location list includes Dubai CMPLX Al Quoz. The linked material checked here does not give a Dubai-specific service schedule and booking terms. Confirm those details before setting off.

Are Cala399 and the announced beach restaurants available now?

Cala399’s current homepage still invites launch notifications. Zuma Beach House is planned for 2027. A current Dubai Novikov Beach opening is not established here. Keep them separate from an operating beach-club booking.

What should I budget?

Use an actual menu order, event package, minimum spend or hotel rate. A future concept’s positioning does not establish a price. Shinobi’s published three-roll set is AED 90; that concrete food example should not become a guessed dinner price for unrelated venues.

Our priority is clear: keep Wynn and Zuma Beach House on the 2027 watchlist, use the current restaurant services for dinner now, and arrange a resort stay only around the dates and facilities that are actually bookable. The most useful opening update is a changed status, real menu or reservation detail. Facts checked on 9 October 2026.
