    Dibba Area Guide

Dibba is a tranquil northern town and the gateway to the Musandam fjords — famous for dhow cruises, snorkelling and some of the best diving in the region. Where the Hajar Mountains plunge into the sea, Dibba offers a slice of the UAE that feels genuinely off the beaten track.

About two hours from Dubai, it is the launch point for the region’s most dramatic boat trips. Here is how to make the most of it, as part of our main Fujairah guide.

    Getting your bearings in Dibba

The town sits at the northern tip of the east coast, straddling the Fujairah and Musandam boundary, with a harbour that serves as the springboard for fjord cruises.

    Things to do in Dibba

Board a traditional dhow for a Musandam fjord cruise, snorkel the sheltered coves or dive the rich waters offshore — there is more in things to do in Fujairah.

Where to eat and stay in Dibba

A handful of beach resorts and seafront eateries make Dibba an easy overnight base before or after a boat trip.

    Getting to Dibba

Around two hours from Dubai; reached by car, and the main launch point for Musandam trips.

    Best time to visit

The cooler months from October to April are ideal for cruising, diving and snorkelling in Dibba.
