Good to know
Umm Al Quwain Marina and the corniche form the emirate’s modern waterfront, a calm contrast to the historic old town across the creek. The marina is the jumping-off point for mangrove kayaking, jet-ski hire and boat trips out to the Al Sinniyah island sandbanks, while the corniche road is lined with parks and casual cafés. With the UAE’s mangrove-fringed lagoon on the doorstep, this is where most of Umm Al Quwain’s outdoor and watersport activity is based.
