There are brunches, and then there are the ones that feel like a proper Sunday in the south of France — linen napkins, sharing plates of burrata and truffle, a cold glass of rosé arriving before you have had time to read the menu, and a room that understands pace. LPM Abu Dhabi’s La Vie en Rosé brunch is decidedly in the second category.

LPM (La Petite Maison) is a French-Mediterranean restaurant group with locations in London, Nice, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. The Abu Dhabi outpost on Al Maryah Island launched its La Vie en Rosé Sunday brunch as one of the UAE’s more sophisticated mid-afternoon dining experiences — less party brunch, more the kind of unhurried French lunch you might have at a good coastal brasserie if you lived in Provence.

What Is the La Vie en Rosé Brunch?

The concept is rooted in the French art of the long Sunday lunch — dishes that are meant to be shared and taken slowly, with enough good wine to extend the afternoon well past the three-hour window. The name is both a play on La Vie en Rose (Édith Piaf’s anthem to seeing the world through rose-tinted glasses) and a nod to rosé wine, which anchors the beverage programme.

Unlike the loud, DJ-heavy party brunches that dominate the Dubai and Abu Dhabi market on Fridays, LPM’s Sunday offering is deliberately quieter. The music is ambient. The food is the point. Guests tend to be professionals, hotel guests from the nearby Four Seasons and Rosewood, and anyone who prefers conversation to decibels.

    The Menu: What to Expect

LPM’s kitchen operates on the principle of the best seasonal Mediterranean produce, treated simply. Sharing plates at the La Vie en Rosé brunch include the restaurant’s signature dishes — burrata with heirloom tomatoes and basil oil, tuna tartare with avocado and sesame, grilled sea bass, and the truffle pizza that has become one of LPM’s most replicated recipes across the UAE dining scene. Desserts lean French — crème brûlée, profiteroles, and seasonal tarts.

Everything is designed to share. Tables are encouraged to order across the menu and pass dishes rather than order individually. It is a format that rewards groups of four to six people more than couples, though the kitchen accommodates all sizes.

    The Rosé Programme

Rosé is the beverage centrepiece — and LPM has always had one of the better rosé selections in the UAE. Expect Provençal rosés from Côtes de Provence (Miraval, Château d’Esclans) alongside other options from southern France. The package tiers are built around beverage choice rather than food volume — the food is effectively unlimited within the brunch format. Premium packages include better rosé and Champagne access; the entry package covers soft beverages and house wines.

    Al Maryah Island: Getting There

LPM Abu Dhabi is located on Al Maryah Island — Abu Dhabi’s premium mixed-use financial and lifestyle district, home to the Galleria Mall, the Four Seasons, and the Rosewood Abu Dhabi. From Abu Dhabi city centre, it is approximately 10–15 minutes by taxi. From Dubai, the drive is 70–90 minutes on the E11. Valet parking is available at the Galleria Mall complex. If you are combining a Dubai day-trip with the brunch, plan for a 1pm start and an early evening return — this is a Sunday, so traffic builds from around 5pm.

Al Qasr Brunch at Jumeirah: The Dubai Alternative

If you want a similarly elevated brunch experience without making the Abu Dhabi journey, the Al Qasr Brunch at Jumeirah Al Qasr in Madinat Jumeirah is the closest Dubai equivalent. Running on Saturdays from 1pm to 4pm, it offers an eclectic international buffet with live cooking stations — European, Asian, smoker and grill — in one of Dubai’s most iconic venues. Pricing: AED 475 (soft), AED 595 (house), AED 695 (sparkling), AED 795 (premium). Bookings via Jumeirah.com or by calling 800 323 232.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What is the La Vie en Rosé brunch at LPM?

La Vie en Rosé is LPM Abu Dhabi’s Sunday brunch concept — a French-Mediterranean sharing-plate experience built around rosé wine, quality seasonal produce, and the unhurried pace of a long southern French lunch. It runs at LPM Abu Dhabi on Al Maryah Island every Sunday from approximately 1pm to 4pm.

How much does the La Vie en Rosé brunch cost?

Prices at LPM Abu Dhabi’s La Vie en Rosé brunch start from approximately AED 350 for the soft drinks package, rising to AED 550–650+ for house wine and rosé packages. Champagne and premium wine tiers are also available. Confirm current pricing directly with LPM Abu Dhabi when booking.

Is LPM Abu Dhabi worth visiting from Dubai?

Yes, if you appreciate high-quality French-Mediterranean food in an elegant setting without the party brunch format. The drive from Dubai is 70–90 minutes. Combining it with a Sunday on Al Maryah Island (shopping at the Galleria, the waterfront) makes a full day trip. Plan to stay in Abu Dhabi or leave by 5–6pm to avoid Sunday traffic.

What is the Dubai equivalent of the La Vie en Rosé brunch?

The Al Qasr Brunch at Jumeirah Al Qasr in Madinat Jumeirah is the closest Dubai equivalent in terms of quality and setting — a Saturday brunch in an iconic venue with an extensive menu and beverage packages from AED 475. Nobu Dubai at Atlantis also offers upscale Friday brunch in a similar price range.
